Received her medical degree from The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. She completed her pediatric training at Vanderbilt and practiced in the Gallatin area for 7 years before joining Rivergate Pediatrics in 1996. She served as treasurer and fellow-at-large for the Tennessee chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), was on the boards of CASA, CPIPA, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, and the Cumberland Pediatric Foundation (CPF), where she served as president. Dr. White has participated in four mission trips to Guatemala. She currently serves on the Virginia Tech Biology Alumni Board and is an active member of the AAP section on Adolescents. She is one of six children and the mother of one amazing daughter, Lauren White, an epidemiologist for the state of Montana.
